The Follicular Phase – Foods To Feed On
The follicular phase, the second phase of your cycle, is when the eggs in your ovaries begin to form. The uterine lining begins to thicken and prepare for ovulation. At this point in your period, it's crucial to eat protein-rich meals like Greek yoghurt to help your body rebuild and grow. Protein helps you grow muscle and speed up your metabolism during this phase of your menstrual cycle.
Cinnamon and honey are also good period regulators, providing the body with essential minerals like iron, potassium, and magnesium. This assists your body in the restoration process.
Try this tasty smoothie to satisfy that sugar craving while providing your body with the protein and minerals it requires.
